Engelhard silver bars were primarily produced in one of two forms at the 5 oz silver weight. These included minted ingots with designs arranged vertically down the face of the bar and cast silver bars with simple engravings stamped into the bar horizontally across the field.
All of the 5 oz Engelhard Silver Bars in this product listing are available to you as secondary market options. The bars will ship inside of a cardboard shipping box and may contain basic packing materials around the bar. Secondary market bars come in a variety of conditions. These are not bars that came to JM Bullion straight from the refiner, but rather, from other sources.
Secondary market bars could be in brand-new condition and still have the original packaging, but it is much more common for secondary market bars to have been removed from the original packaging. In many cases, the bars will show some degree of detracting elements. These range from bars with light wear and tear to those that have sustained heavier damage or present with larger flaws.
The designs on the 5 oz Engelhard Silver Bars in this listing are largely the same whether you receive a cast silver bar or a minted ingot. For both styles of bar, you will find a minimum of the Engelhard company logo, the weight, purity, and metal content. Certain bars will also feature a serial number, a factor that is more likely on the minted ingots than on the cast silver bars. Some bars may have the markings arranged vertically down the length of the bar, while others may have them horizontally across the width of the bar instead.
Please note that we cannot guarantee the condition or type of bar you receive. All items are chosen at our discretion when your payment is processed. We pick bars based on what is available in our inventory at that moment.
