Each of the 5 oz Colorized Proof Lisa Parker Collection Moon Gazer Silver Rounds in this product listing comes to you with a protective plastic capsule and includes an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The rounds are available to you courtesy of Anonymous Mint with a colorized lacquer applied.
The application of colorized lacquers to the silver rounds in this series brings Lisa Parker’s works of art to life as she originally created them. Lisa Parker’s career began where many artists’ do, with a childhood passion for drawing. She captured wildlife scenes and mixed in the mystical with pencils at first before trying her hand at oils and watercolors, eventually settling on the latter as her chosen medium.
On the obverse of 5 oz Colorized Proof Lisa Parker Collection Moon Gazer Silver Rounds, you’ll find the image of a rabbit staring up at the moon overhead. This is the only design element on the round to feature the colorized lacquer, with the rabbit, moon, and the rolling hills all colorized. All remaining elements on this side maintain their original pure silver finish.
The reverse of Colorized Proof Lisa Parker Moon Gazer Rounds includes the design element used commonly across the series. This design of a wolf’s head with a five-pointed star behind it is known as Wild One and is among Lisa Parker’s most popular works.
Julie Lindquist of the Anonymous Mint hand-picked the six designs from Lisa Parker’s vast catalog for use in this series. Italian Master Sculptor Luigi Badia hand-sculpted each of the dies used in coining, with Osborne Mint handling the production of the rounds.
