Customers: Please note these Indian Gold Eagle Coins are either PCGS or NGC graded as MS64 condition. We will select coins from years prior to 1933 to fulfill your order based on our inventory.

The US Mint has long been one of the most revered mints in all of North America and has been producing the United States currency since the late 18th century. Through those years the mint has produced a number of noteworthy coins, but few are more noteworthy than the $5 Indian Head Gold Eagle. These coins are guaranteed to be Mint State 64 and are certified by either the NCG or PCGS. They ship in their protective plastic slabs which are also used to display the year in which the coin was minted, as well as its MS64 grade.

    Coin Highlights:

    • Contains .2419 oz of .900 pure gold.
    • Face value of $5 (USD) backed by the United States government.
    • Available in Mint State 64 grade.
    • Condition of coin certified by either the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation or Professional Coin Grading Service.
    • Struck by the United States Mint between 1908 and 1929.
    • Designed by Bela Lyon Pratt.
    • Ships in a sealed, protective plastic slab provided by the NGC or PCGS.

The coin itself weighs in at around a quarter of an ounce and is comprised of 90% pure gold. Officially, there is roughly .2419 troy ounces of gold in each coin. By todays standards, the 90% level of purity is a bit lower than average, but during the 1908-1929 timeframe in which these coins were minted this level of purity was matched by few other mints. The design of the obverse side of the Indian Head was drafted by Bela-Lyon Pratt and depicts a Native American equipped with his customary headdress. The outer edges of the coins obverse are marked by 13 stars, the year in which the coin was minted, and an inscription of the word Liberty. The coins reverse depicts an American eagle perched on a tied bundle of sticks and an olive branch. The four inscriptions found on the reverse side of the $5 Indian Head Gold Eagle include In God We Trust, E Pluribus Unum, United States of America, and the $5 face value.

This coin has gained world renown for a number of reasons, but most clearly because of its flawless design and high gold content. For these same reasons it should come as no surprise that the MS64 $5 Indian Head Gold Half Eagle is just as often used as an investment as it is added to peoples rare coin collections. Before shipping, your coin will be safely and securely packaged in order to guarantee that it arrives at your door in the best possible condition. Whats more, we do our best to protect you against the pitfalls of shipping by fully insuring every package we dispatch.

If your tracking stops updating, please contact us within five (5) business days of the last tracking update so our Claims Department can contact USPS.

If my order includes an item on presale, will the in-stock items ship first?+

Unfortunately, due to the way insurance is applied to an order, everything must ship at the same time (i.e., in-stock items must await shipment until all presale items have arrived). Your order will ship in its entirety within 24-72 hours of our receiving the presale item. An email notification will be sent when your order ships.

Do you ship to US territories?+

We do not ship to US territories. Due to special requirements set by the postal systems, we are unable to ship outside of U.S. states.

What does “No Will Call” mean?+

All UPS shipments ship with a No Will Call restriction, meaning the package cannot be picked up from a UPS location. This is a precaution to prevent orders from being fraudulently intercepted.

UPS will make three delivery attempts. If nobody is available at the delivery address to sign and accept delivery, the package will be returned to us.

All orders will ship from our warehouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. We mask our return address on all packages as to not give away the contents of the package.
