The obverse of each Cook Islands Valcambi Gold Star CombiCoin, you will find an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. This design was created for Commonwealth coins in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley.
On the reverse of each 5 Gram Valcambi Gold Star CombiCoin, you will find the assayer’s mark and the identifying hallmarks of the coin. Just like the obverse field, this side features these hallmarks on each of the five segments of the CombiCoin.
