The gold bullion produced by Argor-Heraeus comes in the form of gold bars. Among its options are minted ingots that take on two forms and cast gold bars. The classic minted ingot of Argor-Heraeus is available to investors in its traditional form and as a Kinebar featuring the one-of-a-kind kinegram embossment. Argor-Heraeaus developed Kinebar technology in 1993 in coordination with UBS, the ownership group that controls the refinery. The technology uses embossed holographic elements on the reverse face of gold bars. The hologram creates changing visual textures and colors as you adjusted the viewing angle of the bar. The Kinebar technology, as it is known, is applied to gold bars that come from the classic minted ingot series.
On the obverse side of 5 Gram Argor-Heraeus Kinebar Gold Bars, you will find a depiction of the Argor-Heraeus logo. All of the markings on this face of the bar are arranged vertically down the visual field of the bar. The logo is at the top and is followed by markings that identify the nation of issue, weight, metal content, and purity. The bottom of the bar features an assayers mark and an individual serial number assigned with a six-number code.
The reverse face of the 5 Gram Argor-Heraeus Kinebar Gold Bar features a depiction of the Argor-Heraeus logo. This version of the logo is larger than the one on the obverse and is centrally located on the design field. It is this side of the gold bar that includes the embossed kinegram. This holographic helps enhance both the visual brilliance of the bar and its security against counterfeiting.
