This could be as simple as various contact marks or scratches or as complex as heavy damage that includes holes, surface gouges, or even deformed shapes. The Royal Canadian Mint is one of the most prominent producers of 3/4 oz Silver Coins. It has released both one-time commemorative coins and ongoing series in this particular weight. Though there is no guarantee the coin you receive will come from the RCM or be part of either of these collections, the following are some examples of coins you could receive.
3/4 oz Canadian War of 1812 coins feature a reverse design honoring the combatants in the War of 1812 in North America. Great Britain, together with its Canadian allied forces and, faced off against the newly-founded United States of America for expanded control on the continent. The reverse design includes a shield with the Canadian sugar maple leaf design on its surface supported on either side by the heraldic Lion of England on the left and the American bald eagle on the right.
Examples of other coins from the RCM include the reverse-proof 3/4 oz silver coins in the Animal Portrait Series. Launched in 2017, the coins in this collection have new reverse designs from Denis Mayer each year and bear a reverse-proof finish. This means the design elements on both sides are deeply-mirrored while the background fields are frosted.
