Rays of sunlight extend behind her figure, while a ring of stars frames the outer border. Liberty holds a torch upright in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, with the U.S. Capitol Building appearing in the background near her feet.
On the reverse of the 2026-W Proof American Gold Eagles is the American bald eagle. Redesigned in 2020, this image by Jennie Norris depicts the eagle’s head in left-profile relief and features detailed engraving throughout.
The 4-Coin Proof American Gold Eagle Set offers all four brilliant options in this series in a singular set. Included in the annual proof set are the 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz Proof Gold Eagle Coins.
