The obverse of the 2026 1 oz Silver Britannia Coin displays the left-profile effigy of King Charles III. This design shows His Majesty without a crown and was created by Martin Jennings as the official coin portrait of King Charles III, first introduced in late 2022.
On the reverse of the 2026 British Silver Britannia, Philip Nathan’s 1987 artwork depicts Britannia. The image portrays her standing in flowing robes, wearing a Corinthian helmet, grasping a trident in her right hand, and holding an olive branch in her left. A shield carrying the Union Jack rests nearby.
The MintSealed designation from JM Bullion confirms that items with this seal arrive in the same condition as when they were originally issued by the mint. MintSealed Tubes and Singles are drawn directly from mint-issued Monster Boxes. Tubes identified with the MintSealed label provide assurance that their coins remain intact and undisturbed. Singles are taken from mint tubes and placed in protective holders with authentication cards to safeguard and highlight the coin.
