These detractions are limited to minuscule contact marks or hairlines that must be located outside the primary focal points. Early Release indicates a coin that was received for certification within 30 days of release from the mint.
On the obverse of the 2026 American Gold Eagle, you will find Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ iconic Lady Liberty design. The image captures a front-facing effigy of Liberty walking toward the viewer with a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other. A ring of stars encircles the field while sunrays fill the background.
The reverse side of 2026 1 oz Gold Eagle Coins comes with the modernized American bald eagle design. Created in 2020 by Jennie Norris, this image shows the head of the bald eagle in left-profile relief.
