To commemorate the 100th birthday of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Tower Mint has released a limited series of gold and silver coins honoring the occasion. As London’s last remaining mint, Tower Mint produces these collectible issues featuring original effigies of Elizabeth II created by artist Raphael Maklouf. Each 2026 1 Kilo Proof Gibraltar Silver The Queen Elizabeth II 100 Masterpiece Coin is housed in a presentation box and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Although Maklouf’s third-generation portrait was widely used on circulating coinage, the 100 Masterpiece Series showcases seven designs he created that were never struck for circulation. The coins also include the date 21st April 2026 on the rim to mark the Queen’s 100th birthday.
