Each specimen offered includes a label that features the JM Bullion logo and an illustration of Lady Liberty.
The obverse of the 2026 American Gold Eagle displays the renowned design created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. In this image, Lady Liberty is shown in full-length form with flowing hair, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left while striding forward. The U.S. Capitol building appears in the background on the left side of the design. This artwork was originally created for the historic $20 Saint-Gaudens gold coin commissioned by President Theodore Roosevelt to reflect the artistic traditions of ancient Greek and Roman coinage.
On the reverse of the 2026 1/10 oz Gold Eagle Coins is Jennie Norris’ bald eagle design. The motif presents a detailed close-up profile of an American Bald Eagle’s head, featuring a focused expression and carefully rendered detail that results in a realistic depiction of the national bird.
Jennie Norris is one of the newest members of the United States Mint’s Artistic Infusion Program (AIP), and the Gold Eagle reverse design represents her first work on an official coin. Norris has a background in graphic design, illustration, and fine art, and she currently serves as a graphic designer at the University of Arizona. After joining the AIP, she viewed the opportunity to design a Gold Eagle as a way to incorporate her appreciation for wildlife, especially birds of prey, into a significant piece of American coinage. She has described the experience as personally meaningful.
