This coin stands out with its laser beam-themed privy mark on the obverse, showcasing a step forward in minting methods. Using advanced laser-engraving techniques, the Mint was able to create this privy mark with precise master tooling. The obverse of the 2025-W Proof Laser Beam Privy American Silver Eagle presents the timeless Walking Liberty image. Designed in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman, the figure of Liberty is shown walking left toward the rising sun, cloaked in the American flag. On this edition, the obverse also includes the newly added laser beam privy mark to the right of Liberty.
For the reverse of the 2025-W 1 oz Proof Laser Beam Privy Silver Eagle Coin, the updated bald eagle design is used. Debuting in 2021 by artist Emily Damstra, this design depicts the eagle in mid-flight with its wings extended as it descends while gripping a sturdy oak branch in its talons.
