Since 1986, the Proof American Silver Eagle has been produced at three United States Mint facilities: the San Francisco Mint, the Philadelphia Mint, and the West Point Mint. The San Francisco Mint handled the inaugural release and, beginning in 2011, resumed its role in supplemental proof production alongside the West Point Mint. Right now, 2025-S 1 oz Proof American Silver Eagle Coins with special Golden Gate Bridge labels are available from JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
Each 2025-S 1 oz Proof American Silver Eagle Coin offered here has earned a perfect PR70 grade. These coins display complete, original mint luster with no imperfections. As DCAM specimens, they feature strong, frosted design elements with deeply mirrored, clear fields. The First Strike designation indicates that these coins were received for certification within 30 days of the mint’s release date.
In honor of the final release from the San Francisco Mint, these coins come with a Golden Gate Bridge label design in the slab. The Golden Gate Bridge stands as perhaps the most recognizable bridge in the world, its Art Deco towers rising majestically from the fog-shrouded waters of San Francisco Bay in their distinctive International Orange color. Completed in 1937, this engineering marvel spans nearly two miles and was considered impossible to build by many experts of its time.
The obverse of the 2025-S Proof American Silver Eagle displays Adolph A. Weinman’s classic Walking Liberty design. Originally created in 1916, it shows Liberty striding toward the horizon, draped in the American flag, with her right hand reaching forward.
On the reverse, the 2025-S 1 oz Proof Silver Eagle Coin features Emily Damstra’s 2021 depiction of the American bald eagle. Shown mid-flight, the eagle carries a large oak branch in its talons while its wings stretch outward in full display.
