In 2021, the US Mint brought back the Morgan and Peace Dollar coin designs to commemorate 100 years since the last Morgan Dollar and the first Peace Dollar were issued for circulation. These reintroduced designs are now part of a recurring release, providing collectors and bullion buyers with modern versions of these traditional American silver dollars. Today, 2025 Peace Silver Dollars in certified condition are available at JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
The 1934-1935 Peace Silver Dollar production represented a brief revival of the series after a six-year hiatus, prompted by President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s silver purchase programs and the Silver Purchase Act of 1934. These final years produced relatively modest mintages compared to the earlier 1920s issues, with 1935 marking the end of regular Peace Dollar production.
All 2025 Peace Silver Dollars listed here come in perfect condition. Mint State 70 coins have full, original mint luster and no visible detractions. First Day of Issue coins are those that are received for certification within 24 hours of release from the mint.
The obverse of the 2025 Peace Dollar Coin depicts Liberty in left-facing profile. Her hair is gathered in a bun, and a few locks appear to flow beside her face. A spiked crown representing beams of light adorns her head.
The reverse design on the 2025 Peace Silver Dollar illustrates a bald eagle perched on a stone ledge. Its wings are folded at its side as it gazes outward. Behind the eagle, a sunrise sends its rays across the background, framing the peaceful image.
