In 2021, the United States Mint brought back silver dollars aimed at today’s numismatists. That year’s releases of the Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars coincided with the 100th anniversary of two historic events from 1921—the Morgan Dollar’s last issue and the Peace Dollar’s debut. The Mint has continued this modern series with faithful representations of the classic artwork. Today, 2025 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available in certified condition at JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
George T. Morgan served as the 7th Chief Engraver of the United States Mint from 1917 until his death in 1925, succeeding Charles E. Barber in the position. During his eight-year tenure as chief engraver, Morgan oversaw the production of various coin designs and supervised the engraving department’s operations. His leadership came during World War I and the early 1920s, a period that required careful attention to metal conservation and production efficiency while maintaining the artistic standards of American coinage.
All 2025 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins offered here come in perfect condition. Mint State 70 specimens have full, original mint luster and no visible detractions. First Day of Issue coins are those received for certification within 24 hours of release by the US Mint.
The obverse of the 2025 Morgan Dollar Coin displays George T. Morgan’s original Liberty portrait. Liberty is shown in profile facing left, with her hair flowing and a Phrygian cap on her head. She is adorned with a laurel wreath and a coronet, and surrounded by 13 stars.
The reverse of 2025 Morgan Silver Dollars showcases Morgan’s heraldic eagle, the same design used in the historic series. It depicts a bald eagle with wings spread wide, facing forward. One talon holds arrows, representing strength, while the other grips an olive branch, symbolizing peace.
