Today, 2025 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins in certified condition are available from JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
George T. Morgan was hired by the United States Mint in 1876 as an assistant engraver under Chief Engraver William Barber. Born in Birmingham, England, Morgan had trained as an engraver and medallist before immigrating to America at age 30. His appointment came at a time when the Mint was seeking skilled artisans to enhance the artistic quality of American coinage, and Morgan’s exceptional talent in die engraving and coin design quickly distinguished him among his peers.
All 2025 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins available here come in plastic slabs and are in Mint State 69 condition. Coins with this grade are considered near-perfect specimens, with full original mint luster and a maximum of two detracting flaws. These flaws are limited to minuscule contact marks or hairlines located outside the primary focal points. Early Release coins are those received for certification within 30 days of release from the mint.
On the obverse of the 2025 Morgan Dollar Coin is the Liberty effigy designed by George T. Morgan. This portrait shows Liberty in left-profile, her hair flowing beneath a Phrygian cap. She is crowned with both a laurel wreath and a coronet, while 13 stars are arranged around the design.
The reverse of the 2025 Morgan Silver Dollar features Morgan’s well-known heraldic eagle. This depiction shows a front-facing bald eagle with its wings spread wide. The eagle clasps a bundle of arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, symbolizing both war and peace.
