His Majesty King Charles III is on the obverse of 2025 British Silver Britannia Coins. This design is the first portrait of a monarch other than Queen Elizabeth II to grace these coins. It debuted in 2023 and was designed by Martin Jennings. This left-profile relief shows King Charles III without a crown.
Britannia is depicted in the reverse design of 2025 1 oz Silver Britannias. Designed by Philip Nathan in 1987, this effigy casts a strong figure of Britannia standing along the coast with a Corinthian helmet on her head. She wields a trident in her right hand while her left hand clutches an olive branch as it rests on a Union Jack shield.
