Each 2025 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coin offered here comes in Mint State 69 condition. Coins with this grade exhibit full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor flaws. These flaws are limited to minuscule contact marks or hairlines and must be outside the primary focal points of the coin. Early Release specimens are those received for grading within 30 days of release by the mint. These coins come with a unique JM Bullion label in the slab that includes our logo alongside the American flag.
1/10 oz American Gold Eagles have shown a historical tendency to spike in demand among investors when gold prices rise. For example, during the Y2K crisis at the end of the 20th century, the 1/10 oz Gold Eagle surged ahead of the 1 oz Gold Eagle in demand as gold prices rose. The 1999 1/10 oz Gold Eagle holds the single-year record for the highest individual mintage of any weight, with 2.75 million coins sold during the year.
For the obverse of 2025 American Gold Eagles, the mint features Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ classic image of Lady Liberty from the 1907 Double Eagle. In the reverse design of 2025 1/10 oz Gold Eagle Coins, you’ll find the modernized image of the American bald eagle created by Jennie Norris. This design was created in 2020 and debuted on the coins in mid-2021 during the 35th-anniversary celebration. It offers a detailed glimpse at the head of the American bald eagle in left-profile relief.
