Burnished American Silver Eagles represent the third version of the Silver Eagle introduced by the United States Mint. This coin is the most recent addition to the series, having debuted in 2006, and is one of two options geared toward collectors. Today, 2024-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle Coins are available from JM Bullion in certified condition.
Coin Highlights:
The United States Mint introduced the Burnished Silver Eagle in 2006 as part of its 20th-anniversary celebration for the American Eagle Series. Burnished coins are only available in the gold and silver versions of the American Eagle coin series, with the coins boasting beautiful matte visuals throughout the design fields on both sides of the coin.
All 2024-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle Coins offered here come in near-perfect condition. Mint State 69 specimens have full, original mint luster with no more than two minor detractions. Examples of these detractions include minuscule contact marks and hairlines that are located outside the primary focal points. Early Release coins are those the NGC receives for certification within 30 days of release from the mint.
On the obverse of 2024-W Burnished American Silver Eagles is the image of Walking Liberty. First featured on the US Half Dollar from 1916 to 1947, this full-length portrait of Lady Liberty in left-profile relief was created by Adolph A. Weinman. The image shows Liberty walking, draped in the American flag, toward the sun on the horizon.
The reverse side of the 2024-W 1 oz Burnished Silver Eagle Coin comes with a modern depiction of the mighty bald eagle. Created in 2020 by Emily Damstra, this new vision of the eagle captures the bird in flight as it swoops down with an oak branch in its talons.
