Peace Silver Dollars were first introduced in 1921 as they replaced Morgan Silver Dollars. The design of the Peace Silver Dollar comes from Anthony de Francisci who won a contest to design the coin. Francisci was among the youngest and least experienced in the contest. Peace Silver Dollars were originally struck from 1921 to 1934 by the Philadelphia Mint, San Francisco Mint, and the Denver Mint.
Your 2024 Peace Silver Dollar Coin will arrive inside an NGC protective slab. Each coin is graded as Mint State 69 which indicates a near-perfect specimen. MS69 coins have their original, mint luster with no more than two minor detractions. Additionally, these coins are designated as Early Release coins, which means that they were received for grading within 30 days of issue.
