Weinman, this image presents Liberty in full-length, left-profile relief. She is shown draped in the American flag as she walks toward the mountains at sunrise. The star privy mark, the first privy mark ever used on a bullion version of the Silver Eagle, appears on this side in the lower-right field near Weinman’s “AW” signature.
On the reverse of the 2024 (P) Star Privy American Silver Eagle is Emily Damstra’s updated depiction of the American bald eagle. Introduced to the series in 2021, this design shows the eagle in flight with its wings extended as it descends. In its talons, the eagle carries an oak branch, a detail that reflects strength and continuity within the natural world.
For the Star Privy Silver Eagle release, the United States Mint is working in collaboration with Nice Gang, a mobile gaming studio. Nice Gang is the second company to partner with the US Mint on a limited-edition coin program. Through collaborations like this, the Mint aims to encourage interest in coin collecting and investing among younger audiences by working with outside organizations to expand the reach of products such as the American Silver Eagle.
