Through December 1921, Morgan Dollars were struck up until the time the Peace Dollar was introduced late in the month.
The obverse of the 2024 Morgan Dollar Coin comes with a depiction of Lady Liberty. Created in 1878 by George T. Morgan, the visual shows Lady Liberty in left-profile relief with both a coronet crown and a laurel wreath on her head. She also wears a Phrygian cap on her head.
On the reverse side of 2024 Morgan Silver Dollar, you’ll find the heraldic eagle of the United States. Also designed by George T. Morgan, this visual shows the bald eagle in front-facing relief with its wings spread to the sides. The talons of the bird clutch the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace.
