2024 Certified American Eagles at JM Bullion
One of the most anticipated annual releases in the precious metals industry is the American Eagle Series. Though the United States Mint offers this coin series in gold, silver, platinum, and palladium, the Gold Eagle and Silver Eagle drive the highest sales each year and generate the greatest demand within the series. Among the more popular options each year are the Certified American Eagles.
2024 American Eagles at JM Bullion
Since mid-2021, the American Silver Eagle and American Gold Eagle have been available to the public with new reverse designs for each respective series. These new designs are paired with the long-running, historic images of Liberty that have been on the obverse each year since 1986. The 2024 American Eagles continue with the following visuals:
- 2024 American Silver Eagle: On the obverse is Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic image of Walking Liberty. This left-profile relief captures the full-length figure of Liberty walking toward the sun on the horizon with her right arm extended, her left carrying branches of oak and laurel, and the American flag draped around her figure. The reverse features Emily Damstra’s modern image of the American bald eagle in flight. Here, the eagle descends into view with an oak branch in its talons.
- 2024 American Gold Eagle: Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ beloved Liberty effigy remains on the obverse of the coins. Liberty’s full-length figure is depicted in front-facing relief with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. As she strides forward, the background is filled with sun rays and the border is filled by a ring of stars. For the reverse, Jennie Norris’ beautiful depiction of an American bald eagle shows the head of the eagle in left-profile relief.
