The Year of the Dragon occurs every 12 years in the Chinese zodiac cycle. However, it rotates through the five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water) in a 60-year cycle. This means each specific elemental Dragon year only occurs once every 60 years. Each element and respective dragon from that elemental cycle features in the stirring design of this coin.
