When the Armenian Silver Noah’s Ark debuted in 2011, the mint offered the coins in weights of 1 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1/4 oz silver. In 2012, a series of larger silver coins joined the collection with the debut of 5 oz, 10 oz, 1 Kilo, and 5 Kilo coins. These 5 Kilo Silver Noah’s Ark Coins have the lowest mintage in the series each year, with the record mintage for this weight coming in 2014 when just 476 coins were sold.
All of these 2024 5 Kilo Armenian Silver Noah’s Ark Coins are available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The mint offers these massive coins in plastic capsules with a wooden presentation box.
On the obverse of 2024 Armenian Silver Noah’s Ark Coins, you will find the national coat of arms for the Republic of Armenia. The design includes a quartered shield with heraldic eagles and lions in the various quadrants. Additionally, it is flanked by a heraldic eagle on one side and a heraldic lion on the other.
The reverse side of the 2024 5 Kilo Silver Noah’s Ark Coin comes with a depiction of Noah’s Ark. Featured annually on this side of the coins, it shows the ark floating on floodwaters as the tide recedes and the sun begins to rise above Mount Ararat in the background.
