The Equilibrium Series was introduced by the Pressburg Mint in 2018. These coins have been issued annually every year since, featuring a new reverse design with each release. The series initially just issued coins as a 1 oz proof-like silver coin. In 2021, the series expanded to include four unique versions, as well as increase the purity from .999 to .9999.

King Charles III is on the obverse field of the 2024 Tokelau Equilibrium Gold Coin. Designed by Dan Thorne, the King is shown in left-profile relief, with no crown, as identifying marks of the coin surround him. This release marks the first time that the King has been featured in this series.

A unique depiction of the yin-yang symbol is shown on the reverse of the 2024 1 oz Tokelau Equilibrium Coin. In this portrayal, an angel is shown on one side while a devil is shown on the other. Each release features a unique image on the reverse.
