On the obverse of each 2024 Star Privy American Eagle Coin is the iconic image of Walking Liberty. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916 and first used on the US Half Dollar through 1947, this beautiful image shows Liberty walking toward the sun on the horizon with the American flag draped around her figure. This side includes the US Mint’s distinctive star privy mark in the lower right of the field near the AW signature mark of Weinman.
The reverse side of 2024 1 oz Silver Eagles comes with a depiction of the American bald eagle. In this design from Emily Damstra, the eagle is shown descending in flight with its wings raised as its talons clutch a large oak branch.
