The Somalia Leopard is another annual issue in the African Wildlife Series that features one of Africa’s famed big cats with new reverse designs each year. Coin Highlights:
The African leopard (Panthera pardus pardus) is a subspecies of leopard found throughout sub-Saharan Africa. It’s one of the most widespread big cats on the continent. African leopards inhabit a variety of habitats including forests, savannas, grasslands, and even mountainous regions. They are adaptable creatures and can thrive in diverse environments.
All 2024 1 oz Somalia Gold African Wildlife Leopard Coins are available here in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are individually packaged inside acrylic capsules for delivery. As is the case with the Somalia Elephant Series, the Somalia Leopard has a new design featuring an adult with its cub.
On the obverse of 2024 Somalia Gold African Wildlife Leopards, you will find the Somali coat of arms. The national emblem consists of a crowned shield that features a background of horizontal lines with a single star at the center. The shield is flanked on either side by leopards.
The reverse side of the 2024 1 oz Gold African Wildlife Leopard Coin comes with a depiction of a leopard family. Here, an adult leopard is shown sitting on a rocky outcrop next to its young cub. This series is known to alter each year between a picture of a leopard and its cub, and a lone leopard.
