This Koala Series is a brand-new collection of coins from the Royal Australian Mint. The mint plans to release new coins annually, featuring a unique image of a koala with each release. The 2024 issue marks the final time the mint will use the image of Queen Elizabeth II on their coinage.

The obverse of the 2024 Royal Australian Mint Gold Koala Coin features the Jody Clark design of Her Majesty. Queen Elizabeth II is seen in right-profile relief while identifying marks of the coin surround her image.

The reverse of the 2024 1 oz Gold Koala Coin features a unique koala image. Notably, this is the first Royal Australian Mint coin to feature a koala. The Australian animal is seen looking to its left amid the background of a forest.

Your 2024 1 oz Royal Australian Mint Gold Koala Coin will arrive in a capsule to preserve the condition of your gold. For larger orders, rolls of 10 gold coins are also available. These coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. While the mintage is 1,000, only 900 are meant for worldwide distribution.
