The dragon is the 5th animal in the zodiac as per a popular iteration of the story, the dragon was the fifth animal to finish in the race organized by the Jade Emperor. A race was organized to cross a rapid river with all the animals. The 12 that finished first were represented in the zodiac in the order in which they finished.
The obverse side of the 2024 1/2 oz Proof Colorized Silver Lunar Baby Dragon Coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley depiction of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is seen in right-profile relief with identifying marks of the coin surrounding her.
