The obverse side of the 2024 Australian Gold Kookaburra Coin features the effigy of King Charles III. The King is seen in left-profile relief, with no crown, as designed by Dan Thorne.

The reverse side of the 2024 1/10 oz Australian Kookaburra Coin shows a kookaburra. The bird is flying in right-profile relief, clutching a snake in its talons. At the bottom of the design, we can see a jagged rock formation. The reverse side also shows the P125 mint mark for the Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary.
