Since 1997, the United States Mint has used various design series within the Proof Platinum Eagle Collection. Starting in 2021, the US Mint embarked on the First Amendment Series, a five-coin design series honoring the five freedoms enshrined in the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
All of these 2023-W 1 oz Proof American Platinum Eagle Coins are housed in capsules and shipped with a presentation box. Inside the box, you will find a Certificate of Authenticity from the mint. These proof coins have frosted designs and mirrored fields.
