The Peace Silver Dollar was the final US silver dollar in circulation. The First Day of Issue designation is for coins received for certification within 24 hours of the US Mint’s release of the coins following production.
On the obverse of 2023 Peace Dollars, you’ll find a left-profile image of Liberty. Based on the goddess of Liberty, this image of Lady Liberty’s head in left-profile relief shows a radiant crown on her head.
The reverse side of the 2023 Peace Silver Dollar comes with a depiction of an American bald eagle at peace. The eagle is shown perched on a rock ledge with an olive branch between its talons and its wings resting at its sides.
