The reverse side of the 2023 1 oz Proof Silver Dinosaurs in Asia Auroraceratops Rugosus Coin showcases the Auroraceratops Rugosus dinosaur. This unique dinosaur is shown walking toward the viewer while looking to the left. The bone structure of this dinosaur is shown at the bottom of the coin.
The Auroraceratops Rugosus lived during the Early Cretaceous period in what is now north-central China. This unique dinosaur was named fairly recently in 2005 and as of 2021, more than 80 individual remains have been found for these types of dinosaurs.
