The Bull of Clarence refers to a heraldic symbol that depicts a bull. It originated from the House of York, one of the factions involved in the Wars of the Roses in 15th-century England. The symbol was associated with the third son of Edward III, Lionel of Antwerp, who held the title of Duke of Clarence.
On the obverse side of 2023 British Platinum Tudor Beasts Bull of Clarence Coin, you will find a depiction of King Charles III. The first-ever portrait of the new monarch, His Majesty is shown here in left-profile relief without a crown. This bust of His Majesty was created in late 2022 by Martin Jennings.
