Each 2023 1 oz Australian Wedge Tail Eagle Silver Coin in this product listing is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are individually packaged in acrylic capsules. Multiples of 20 are available sealed in rolls of plastic, while multiples of 100 are in a box that contains five rolls of 20 coins each. All coins in the rolls and boxes are in individual capsules.
As with all previous releases in the Australian Wedge Tail Eagle Series, John Mercanti has once again designed the image of the eagle for the reverse. The former US Mint Chief Engraver has been a part of the series since its inception in 2014.
The obverse of the 2023 Australian Wedge Tail Eagle Silver Coin comes with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This is the final time Her Late Majesty will feature on the coins and her left-profile portrait from Jody Clark is shown here with a commemorative 1952-2022 date mark that celebrates her record-breaking reign.
On the reverse of 2023 1 oz Wedge Tail Eagle Silver Coin, you will find the majestic wedge tail eagle. Here, the bird is shown clutching a branch with its massive talons as it raises its wings in preparation to take flight.
