In mid-2020, Emily Damstra’s depiction of a soaring bald eagle was chosen as the new design for the reverse of the American Silver Eagle. The artist has signed the labels in each of the slabs that come with these 2023 American Silver Eagles.
All 2023 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins offered here come in perfect condition. A Mint State 70 specimen has full, original mint luster and bears no detracting flaws. The coins are also First Strike specimens, an indication that each one was received within 30 days of issue by the mint. On the slab, you will find the signature of Emily Damstra.
On the obverse of 2023 American Silver Eagles is Walking Liberty. Designed in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman, this iconic image of Liberty was used on the US half dollar from 1916 to 1947. In this design, Liberty walks in left-profile relief toward the sun on the horizon.
