For the reverse of 2023 1/4 oz Proof Australian Gold Coins, there is a kangaroo design. Here, the kangaroo faces right with her head turned the other way. Across the border of the coin, you’ll find inscriptions reading 2023 1/4 oz .9999 Gold, Kangaroo. The Perth mintmark is also found on the lower left side.
