The obverse of 2022 5 oz Antique Silver Egyptian Relic Series Kek Coins features the Republic of Chad coat of arms. This national emblem features a lion and a goat propping up a decorative shield. Above the shield, there are rays of sunlight serving as the crest. The obverse also contains inscriptions of the coin’s identifying hallmarks.
On the reverse of 2022 5 oz Antique Republic of Chad Silver Egyptian Relic Series Coins, we see Kek. This design is directly inspired by Ancient Egyptian art. It features Kek facing right with the head of a frog and the body of a human. On the right side, the word Kek is also inscribed.
Though feared by many, some Ancient Egyptians also worshiped Kek so that he might watch over and protect the living and the dead.
