Following the success of the 10-coin Queen’s Beast Series, the Royal Mint of England moves on to focus on a singular dynasty to rule the monarchy of England. The Tudor Dynasty sat on the throne from 1485 to 1603 and was dominated by large, bold personalities. The heraldry of the Tudor Dynasty is as impressive as the entirety of the monarchy’s history. Right now, 2022 2 oz British Silver Tudor Beasts Lion Coins are available to purchase online at JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
Each 2022 2 oz British Silver Tudor Beasts Lion Coin available here comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The silver coins for sale in this listing are packaged in protective plastic flips individually. Multiples arrive in acrylic tubes of 10 coins or boxes of 200 coins. The box holds 20 tubes of 10 coins in total. The Lion of England release is the first BU coin in the Tudor Beasts Series.
The new Tudor Beasts Series takes a more focused view of heraldry within the monarchy of England. In this case, the series focuses on the ruling monarchs from the nearly 120-year history of the Tudor Dynasty. Established by Henry Tudor in 1485, the Tudor Dynasty lasted until the death of his granddaughter, Queen Elizabeth I.
The obverse side of the 2022 British Silver Tudor Beasts Lion Coin comes with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown. This design was created for the Royal Mint in 2015 by Jody Clark and serves as the fifth-generation portrait of the Queen for British coinage.
On the reverse field of 2022 2 oz Silver Tudor Beasts Lion Coins is a depiction of the Lion of England supporting the Royal Arms of King Henry VIII and his third wife, Jane Seymour. The crowned Lion of England is the oldest heraldic beast in English history. Here, the Lion of England supports a shield with the combined arms of King Henry VIII and Jane Seymour, her own arms being a combination of her personal arms and that of her family.

"Beautiful coin. Four 9's ... low premium and GB sovereign. "
"I ordered 4 of these coins and had them for a few years already. Just looked at them and ALL 4 coins are experiencing a form of corrosion to the right of the queens face. Not a coincidence that it is in the same spot on all coins. They are maintained in a non humid A/C space 7 days a week. I am SERIOUSLY QUESTIONING the validity of these coins. Never had an issue with any of my other coins. Called JM Bullion and they said there is nothing they can do for me. Going to Out of Pocket to have them tested and go from there but this is unacceptable !!!"
