This intriguing silver coin is the fourth and final release in the “Fear Tales” series, representing the scary sides of the most beloved fairy tales. In this edition, the series explores Beauty and the Beast. The story is retold as a selfish Prince who is cursed to become a monster for the rest of his life. Although he must fall in love with a beautiful young woman to break the curse, he keeps her as his prisoner forever instead.

For the obverse field of the 2022 2 oz Antique Palau Silver Beauty and the Beast Coin, the imagery depicts a deep and dark forest and a sign with the inscription: “SADLY EVER AFTER”. Above the sign, the Coat of Arms of Palau, and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIC OF PALAU” – the issuing country and “10$” – the face value.

For the reverse field of the 2022 2 oz Antique Palau Silver Beauty and the Beast Coin, you will find a profile depiction of the Beast on the left.
