Queen Victoria passed in 1901 and that same year a design was put in place for a monument honoring her life. Known as the Victoria Memorial, this incredible statue by Sir Thomas Brock was finally completed in 1924. The design includes six female figures who personify the different virtues displayed by Victoria during her life.
