The Armenian Noah’s Ark Series is a product of Geiger Edelmetalle with the backing of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia. The coins debuted in 2011 with three silver options and grew in 2012 to include four more silver options, bringing the total number of silver coins to seven in all. In 2020, four gold bullion versions of the coin were introduced.

Multiples of 10 coins will arrive in individual capsules inside a wooden box from the mint. All of the coins are available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
On the obverse of the 2022 Armenian Silver Noah’s Ark Coin is a depiction of the national coat of arms for the Republic of Armenia. The seal features a large heraldic eagle and a heraldic lion supporting the quartered shield. Each quadrant has varying images of heraldic eagles and heraldic lions representing the long history of Armenian culture. At the center of the shield is a smaller shield with an image of Noah’s ark atop the peak of Mount Ararat.
The reverse field of the 2022 1 Kilo Silver Noah’s Ark Coins comes with a design from Eduard Kurghinyan. This design shows Noah’s ark as it carries its vital load atop the floodwaters during the biblical flood from the Book of Genesis. Mount Ararat is featured in the background as the sun rises over its peak and there is a dove in the foreground with an olive branch in its beak.
