Coin Highlights:
Giant Pandas are widely considered unofficial symbols of the People’s Republic of China. The massive black-and-white bears are native to the central highlands of China and largely forage for bamboo and other vegetation as a primary dietary source. Since 1982, this series has featured a new design on the reverse each year with just one exception, 2002. In addition to the gold coins, this series also features a beautiful silver bullion specimen that launched in 1983 as a proof collection and gained a BU specimen in 1989.
All of the 2022 1 Gram Chinese Gold Panda Coins are available to you here in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins in this series are available individually inside sealed plastic pouches.
On the obverse of 2022 Chinese Gold Panda Coins is a design of the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. This building is part of the Taoist religious complex known as the Temple of Heaven. This specific building was constructed between 1406 and 1420, and stands to this day as the primary building within the complex.
The reverse side of the 2022 1 Gram Gold Panda Coin features a new exclusive design for the 40th anniversary. This design shows two pandas sliding down a snowy hill with the one on its stomach and the other on its back. This side of the coin includes a 40th-anniversary privy that consists of the digits 40 with a panda in the 0.
