The 2021 date mark in the American Gold Eagle Series is one of the most notable in the program’s history. In 2021, the United States Mint celebrated the 35th anniversary of the American Eagle bullion series with new reverse designs for the gold and silver coins. This was the first redesign of either coin in the program’s history. It also marked the first time the US Mint issued two versions in the same year, with the original design struck through June 2021 and the new design released starting in July 2021.
All of these 2021-W 1/10 oz Proof American Gold Eagles are in perfect condition. PF70 coins have a full, original mint luster and no flaws. Additionally, the UCAM label stands for ultra-cameo proof and refers to the contrast between the strong, frosted designs and the deeply mirrored, clear fields.
