The US Mint began to regularly issue S-Proof American Silver Eagles again in 2018. Weinman and features the figure of Liberty in left-profile relief as she walks toward the sun on the horizon with her right hand outstretched, her left carrying branches of oak and laurel, and the American flag draped around her figure.

The reverse side of the 2021-S 1 oz Proof Silver Eagle comes with the new design from Emily Damstra. This image of the American bald eagle debuted on all versions of the 2021 Type 2 Silver Eagle. It depicts the eagle in flight as it descends into view with a large oak branch in its talons.
