In 1921, the United States Mint revived its silver dollar coining after a 17-year hiatus. With passage of the Pittman Act in 1918, the US Mint was required to begin striking millions of silver dollars and did so starting in 1921. The mint first issued the Morgan Silver Dollar design again before shifting to a brand-new design: the Peace Dollar. Right now, 2021 Peace Silver Dollar Coins are available to purchase online at JM Bullion in perfect condition.

The Peace Silver Dollar went into production at the United States Mint in December 1921. A little more than one million Peace Silver Dollars were issued by the mint in the final days of 1921 with the 1921 date mark. The coins would go on to be issued annually through 1928, and again in 1934 and 1935.
Liberty features on the obverse of 2021 Peace Silver Dollars. This design comes from Anthony de Francisci with his wife serving as the model for his vision of Liberty. In this design, Libertys hair is up in a bun at the back of her head with a towering, spike crown on her head.
An American bald eagle is shown in the reverse design of 2021 Peace Silver Dollar Coins. This image was also created by Francisci and shows a bald eagle at rest. The bird is perched on an olive branch with its wings resting at its sides.
In 2021, the US Mint issued six different silver bullion coin designs honoring the 1921 silver dollars. This centennial year commemorates the final strike of the Morgan Dollar and the first strike of the Peace Dollar.
