These exciting specimens from the US Mint sold out quickly as numismatists sought out the newly struck Peace Dollar designs. Today, certified-perfect 2021 Peace Silver Dollar Coins are available to you online from JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
When the US Mint introduced the Peace Silver Dollar in 1921, it couldn’t have known it was releasing the last silver dollar that would circulate in the United States. While US dollar coins are still in existence today, the Peace Dollar was the last one issued with actual silver content. The original Peace Silver Dollar featured 90% silver and 10% copper, the same metallic composition used in the previous Morgan Silver Dollar and Seated Liberty Silver Dollar coins dating all the way back to the 1840s.
All of these 2021 Peace Silver Dollar Coins are in perfect condition. Mint State 70 specimens have full, original mint luster and no detracting flaws of any kind. The high-relief notation points out that even though these coins are BU specimens, the NGC noticed signs of a high-relief strike, such as greater 3D effect on the design elements.
On the obverse of 2021 Peace Dollar Coins, you will find the image of Lady Liberty. This depiction of Liberty captures her head in left-profile relief with soft features and a towering crown formed by rays of light.
The reverse side of the 2021 Peace Silver Dollar features an image of the American bald eagle. Reflective of the ideals of peace sought in America in the aftermath of World War I, the eagle depicted here is at rest on its perch with its wings at its sides. The eagle is shown clutching an olive branch in its talons.
