American Silver Eagle Coins were issued in 2021 in two versions. Beyond the BU, Proof, and Burnished releases each year, the US Mint issued the coins with the Type 1 design and the Type 2 design options. These design options marked the end of one era and the start of another. Right now, certified near-perfect 2021 (P) 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins are available to purchase online from JM Bullion.

Each 2021 (P) 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin in this product listing comes in near-perfect condition in a plastic slab. Coins in Mint State 69 condition exhibit full, original mint luster with a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. Those flaws are limited to minuscule contact marks or hairlines and must be located outside of the primary focal points of the coin.
As Type 1 coins in 2021, these coins were the last 1 oz American Silver Eagles to feature the effigy of the heraldic eagle on the reverse of the coins. The United States Mint struck roughly 13 million of these coins in 2021, with the Philadelphia Mint offering a rare contribution to production. As a result of increased demand and decreased staffing levels, the US Mint employed the Philadelphia Mint location to provide emergency coining capacity for the series. Though these coins do not have a P mint mark, each one is known to come from the Philadelphia Mint as identified by the mint straps and serial numbers on the shipping Monster Boxes.
Walking Liberty features on the obverse of 2021 (P) American Silver Eagle Type 1 Coins. This vision shows Liberty in left profile as she walks toward the sun on the horizon with her right hand outstretched. Her left hand carries the branches of oak and laurel, while the American flag is draped around her figure.
For the final time, the heraldic eagle is found on the reverse side of 2021 (P) 1 oz Silver Eagle Type 1 Coins. This image features the American bald eagle with the US national shield, the arrows of war, and the olive branch of peace. This design was modified in 1986 for this series by John Mercanti.
