In 2021, the United States Mint celebrated an important centennial. 1921 represented the last time the Morgan Silver Dollar was released into circulation. In celebration of this 100th anniversary, the mint released five modern silver bullion versions of the Morgan Silver Dollar for collectors. Now, 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available to you for purchase online from JM Bullion in perfect condition.
Coin Highlights:
The 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar coins from the United States Mint include five versions, each with a mintage cap of 175,000 coins. There are two coins in this release with mint marks from the original mints that issued Morgan Dollars in the 19th and 20th centuries. These specimens come from the San Francisco Mint and Denver Mint, with respective S and D mint marks.
The Philadelphia Mint actually issues three of the five commemorative 2021 Morgan Silver Dollars. These coins with no mint mark are issued in honor of the Philadelphia Mint and its history with the Morgan. Philadelphia also issued coins with commemorative privy marks replicating historic mint marks. These included an O privy and CC privy, honoring the now-shuttered New Orleans Mint and Carson City Mint.
Obverse visuals on these 2021 Morgan Silver Dollars include the left-profile portrait of Liberty. She is set in left-profile relief with a Phrygian cap on her head and the laurel wreath and coronet crowns. There are also 13 stars on this field.
Reverse designs on 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins include the heraldic eagle of the United States. As designed in 1878 by George T. Morgan, this visual shows the bald eagle in front-facing relief with the olive branch of peace and the arrows of war.
These 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available to you for purchase in perfect condition. Sealed in PCGS slabs, each Mint State 70 coin showcases full, original mint luster and has no detracting flaws. First Day of Issue labels mean the coins were received for grading within 24 hours of release.
